Durdledoor Adventures

The ever popular Durdledoor is usually at the top of the list of places to go for most outdoor photographers, so naturally I followed suit back in 2018. Luckily ,without knowing, we managed to time this little adventure when everyone was heading home for the day from the beaches so it quietened up pretty quick for a nice subtle golden sunset.

I love watching the last peaks of the scenery around catch a glimpse of the last light so thats what I focussed on when we sat up top away from the crowds leaving, not every shoot has to be meticulously planned out, sometimes location, timings and subjects just work. This relaxed approached allowed us to even get a couple film shots (Which still need devloping).

For me it crucial to have these types of adventures where it's more of a laid back approach as I'm sure fellow photographers know, it allows for the head space to learn and try new techniques, honing in on your craft.
